On 7 April, G3 went to Punngol Primary School to have a school exchange. What a great way to celebrate 50 years of friendship between Korea and Singapore! Our friends in Punggol Primary School welcomed us warmly as we were introduced to the local culture, food and games in their newly-built Heritage Room. It was apt that Punggol Primary School was also celebrating International Friendship Day and we were able to join in with the myriad of activities that were planned for all the children.
We sampled local food, did lots of craftwork, and even had the opportunity to dress up in local costumes. We had a fantastic music lesson with our friends where most of us played an angklung for the first time. We ended our visit with a PE lesson where we showed off our skills in hockey. At the end of the day, we were really tired but so happy that we got to experience so many new things. We can't wait for our friends to visit our school in September!
